Owners/ Rental Units

While I am there I can do the little things that you can't do yourself.

2 Important Things Every Home Owner Should Know

How to turn off your main water supply in case you ever have a bad leak, there is usually a turn off valve located somewhere coming into home or in the meter box. If you do not have a regular valve you need to purchase a meter key also known as a curb box key at Home Depot, Lowes or a plumbing supply around $12. You can turn the water off at the meter with this tool.

2nd Thing is to know where you electrical panel box is, on newer homes there is also a main panel box under the meter with a main breaker to turn off all power in case of electrical problems. Make sure that your panel box is accessible & not cluttered up with junk stored around it, especially flammable items!!!!
